LATEST NEWS FROM THE LIBRARY

This has been a busy autumn month! Kinder classes have started checking books out, GR 3 is exploring Greek myths, GR 2 is into celebrations and GR 1 is inquiring about imagination. We have had buddies come in to read with some of the classes. GR 8 have listened and commented on Obama's speech...and the Italian book van Ottimomassimo came by to visit us...Please remember to check your children's schedule and send library books back in time, so they can choose another one!

Welcome to Ambrit Peter H. Reynolds!

Peter Hamilton Reynolds is an author and illustrator of children's books and is the Founder of the educational media company FableVision. Reynolds is best known for his children’s books about “authentic learning, creativity and self-expression”, including The North Star, Ish, The Dot, and So Few of Me. The Dot has been published in over twenty languages. He came to visit Ambrit and presented to Grade 2 and Grade 1 students. It was a wonderful experience! Thank you for sharing your art with us!

Marcus Pfister

Author of the month: MARCUS PFISTER

 A worldwide success are his since 1992 published children's picture books about the Rainbow Fish.
